The story has something to do with her sister (played by another cute blonde newcomer Laurel Canyon) wanting her to get married, but Barbii loves to play flesh games and wants to keep her relationship with Randy Paul open. The story plods along, but sex is where this feature's at. And sexually speaking, at least two other sex scenes without Barbii sizzle as well.
There's nothing creative about the direction or camerawork, although most of the scenes are captured well (though the harsh lighting dims the picture at times). But forget these very minor flaws and get your grips on Barbii, who may become the hottest new star of 1988.

Description: Instead, Falcon Breast turns out to be a clever, rollicksome feature about a wine that excites your vine before its time. Peter North and Crystal Hart are first seen as a pair of tight ass wine critics who look like Lorenzo Lamas and Morgan Fairchild sharing an after dinner coma. Well they share some of the nectar of the rods produced by the mysterious Falcon Breast winery. They become raving sex lunatics even though Hart still insists on reading her lines like a wine list in Swahili.
A visit to the winery owned by Jane Whynot (Nina Hartley) provides ample samples of outdoor bouquet: witness a musky but flavorful girl / girl scene between tour guide Shanna McCullouqh and Alicia Monet whose beauty and sexuality is reminiscent of a forerunner Monet --Bridgette ... Foreman P.M. Bradley escorts Hart to the dock of the lake and does an Otis Redding number on her. ... ... fa fa fa faiing her till his g s drop off his leaves. North gets a personal tour of the vines, courtesy of McCullough.
Mike Horner whips out his mad scientist schtick as Dr. Heinrich who discovers the key to this aphrodisiac is a fly that has flown in from Spain to pollinate the crop. Vine employee Monet rewards him for his astuteness. Sounds like Caballero's Love Bites (currently off the market).
The outdoor shots are bright and vibrant with some terrific closeups in the sex shoots. P.O. Conners' script is witty and clever and sustains hope that this could be a trend of great product to come out of the industry for the new year.

Description: If you took portions of Paramount Video's extremely luscious Aerobicize tape and blended it with nicely-shot loops, you'll get an idea of what Gail palmer's Shape Up For Sensational Sex consists of. Beautiful women, from model Dez Mendez to playmate Linda Weismeier, tease and taunt in pseudo-erotic exercises, designed to get you in shape for better sex. Whether these exercises work is anyone's guess, but you'll spend time during these segments wishing these gorgeous bombshells would disrobe. But they'll turn you on even with their outfits on.
Each segment, from arm exercises to hamstring stretches to aerobics to a cool-down session, cuts to a short hardcore sex scene that will satisfy the viewer only rarely. The exercise is designed for that specific position.
Ginger Lynn performs one of her very first hardcore scenes here, with much of the penetration simulated. Since the sex scenes are supposedly extensions of the previous workout the sex act should make sense. But the linkage usually doesn't.
There are a couple of good sex scenes, most of which are kept very short. The emphasis is on exercise and Palmer has chosen exotic and varied location for her lovely models and good-looking guys (one is a Chippendale) to strut their stuff. Paramount's Aerobicise is just as erotic for the tease value, but the sex here is mostly standard fare.
Shape Up For Sensational Sex does boast superb production values, with nice graphics, lighting, music and sharp editing. Yet the strange mix of exercise and hardcore doesn't work as an erotic film. The lack of continuity will leave sex fans bored and aching for more Ginger and Crystal Breeze. The best hope for Shape Up is that people who have never viewed porn will take a chance with this one, enjoy the few sex scenes and cross over to a new market. After all, this is an exercise tape. But the porn buffs should leave this one on the shelves.
